SatLink

SatLink is a university balloon-mission challenge. Each team builds a radiosonde, hangs it from a weather balloon and tracks it from the ground. The probe sends its telemetry live over LoRaWAN, through the infrastructure of the PiCARO project.

It is organized by the Instituto Tecnológico de Pabellón de Arteaga (ITPA), in Pabellón de Arteaga, Aguascalientes.

The 2026 edition took place on the night of October 28, 2026. Everything the network recorded that night is published, with its data and analysis.
